Matt Mikalatos is an author, screenwriter, and speaker.

He’s the award-winning author, most recently, of the graphic novel GOD WITH US, the devotional PRAYING WITH SAINT NICHOLAS, and the YA fantasy series THE SUNLIT LANDS.

Matt Mikalatos is also the co-creator, alongside NYT bestselling author Hugh Howey (SILO on Apple TV+), of AMC’s EVERGREEN, and Sony’s THE DISCIPLE. Matt wrote the screenplay for LEGACY PEAK (2022) produced by Affirm Originals, for which he received sole writing credit. Matt was also a staff writer and co-producer on Sony Affirm’s GOING HOME.

His other books include his highly acclaimed memoir SKY LANTERN, for which Matt was featured on the TODAY show. He’s a former minister who has served all over the world. LOVING DISAGREEMENT, with co-author Kathy Khang, explores how to stay in relationship with one another even when we disagree on important topics.
