God has blessed David Dean with the gift of making people laugh on a full-time basis for over 25 years. Comedy that is family-friendly, fast paced, and most importantly: clean. Not corny, but clean.

David says, “There is nothing that thrills my heart more than looking out into an audience and seeing families; dads, sons, moms, daughters, hunched over laughing.”

David honed his talent in the late 80’s at the famous Second City School of Improvisational Comedy in Chicago. It was there where he learned to think quick on his feet and respond to – and with – the audience. Slowly, God began opening doors throughout the Chicagoland area for David to come and share his humor at faith-based events. Hosts not only wanted the laughter, they wanted David to talk about his walk with Christ. That chapter in his life taught him that comedy is simply a platform for talking about Jesus.

David rarely shies away from any type of setting: Family comedy nights, Men’s Events, Women’s gatherings, Youth conferences/retreats, weekend services, and even banquets and fundraisers.

But David is more than comedy. Over the past 10 years, David has hosted week-long mission trips 4-5 times a year to the Dominican Republic. He and Craig Gross, the founder of XXXchurch.com and a long-time friend, co-wrote a book designed for parents titled, Touchy Subjects.

David and Betsy, his wife of over 25 years, live in Huntington, Indiana and have two adult children, Hannah and Alex.
