After hearing his birth mother’s courageous decision to choose life and adoption, Brad made a promise to God: “Anything. Anytime. Anywhere—for the cause of life.”

But Brad’s journey was not without failure.

In his young adulthood, brokenness led to an unhealthy relationship and an unexpected pregnancy. In the weight of sin and shame, Brad participated in the abortion of his first son—a decision that would profoundly shape the rest of his life.

Devastated, he cried out to God for forgiveness and restoration.

And once again, he made the same promise: Anything. Anytime. Anywhere.

What followed was a decade-long journey of redemption—one that ultimately led to a clear calling into full-time pro-life leadership.

Brad went on to serve as the first Executive Director of America’s Pregnancy Helpline, and with the support of its board, launched the American Pregnancy Association in 2003. Under his leadership, the organization grew to serve over 5.6 million people per month, becoming one of the most recognized pregnancy resources in the nation.

At the same time, Brad and his wife Lynn faced another deeply personal trial—infertility. What could have been a point of despair became another chapter of healing and trust in God.

Through that journey, they experienced the joy of adoption, growing their family with their son Grant and daughter Lauren.

Today, Brad shares a story that uniquely bridges: the beauty of adoption, the pain and reality of abortion, the struggle of infertility, the transforming power of God’s redemption and healing.

His message is deeply personal, biblically grounded, and delivered with authenticity—often weaving in humor that disarms and connects while maintaining the weight of the subject matter.

Dr. Imler is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with: Master of Arts in Marriage & Family Counseling and a Ph.D. in Psychology and Counseling (Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary).

He currently serves as: President, Christian Adoptions Alliance — advancing and protecting biblical adoption across the U.S. He also serves as President, SOHL Global — equipping pastors and ministry leaders worldwide with sanctity of life training and counseling tools.

Brad has been actively engaged in pro-life leadership for over 29 years.

Brad and his wife Lynn have been married for 35 years. Together, they celebrate life with their two adopted children: Grant (26) and Lauren (25)
