In that capacity, he travelled all over the world – including the North Pole, South Pole, and down to the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean to report from the Titanic – and appeared regularly on “Good Morning America,” “20/20,” “Nightline” and “World News Tonight.” He is the host of “Where Did It Come From?,” a popular series for The History Channel. He is also a columnist for FoxNews.com and U.S. News & World Report. He has also written the much-anticipated book Amazing Truths: How Science and the Bible Agree, that was released in 2016.

Michael is the producer of the award-winning family movie LITTLE RED WAGON. It is written by Patrick Sheane Duncan (MR. HOLLAND’S OPUS, COURAGE UNDER FIRE), directed by David Anspaugh (RUDY, HOOSIERS)  and stars Anna Gunn (Breaking Bad). Having been in theaters nationwide and a best seller at Walmart, the motion picture is currently available on Netflix and DVD.

Michael has written countless articles for a wide range of publications, including Science News, Psychology Today, The New York Times, and The Washington Post. He is the best-selling author of Bridges to Infinity: the Human Side of Mathematics, Five Equations that Changed the World: the Power and Poetry of Mathematics, and Can a Smart Person Believe in God?.

Born in East Los Angeles, Dr. Guillen earned his B.S. from UCLA and his Ph.D. in physics, mathematics and astronomy from Cornell University. For eight years, he distinguished himself as an award-winning physics instructor at Harvard University. A popular and engaging public speaker, he belongs to the prestigious Explorers Club.
