Drawing from her contagious enthusiasm for the Lord Jesus Christ and her deep love for His Word, Jean communicates with great energy, humor, warmth, and grace. An unlimited supply of humorous life stories give Jean the ability to illustrate spiritual truths in personal ways.

As Jean through the years has deepened her spiritual stakes, God has lengthened the ropes of her ministry. For over 20 years she has taught a Bible study specifically for moms. Jean has published six of her Bible studies to date. Her studies address the rewarding, but challenging task of parenting with such titles as Proverbs and Principles for Parenting Practically Perfect Progeny and Run Well, Finish Strong. These studies are particularly effective in church programs with accountability group participation. Accompanied by a 10-week DVD series, these studies provide an ideal ongoing ministry to moms in a group setting.

The Lord has gifted Jean with a winsome combination of humor, profound spiritual insights, practical life lessons, and the ability to communicate scriptural truths with personal illustrations. She speaks with a passion that comes from her devotional love for the Lord Jesus and others are blessed out of the overflow. Jean speaks at churches and Ladies Conferences across the country and does evangelism training internationally. She is being widely used of the Lord to motivate and challenge women of all ages and stages of life to become students of the Word and to live out in everyday experience the reality of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Known for her sanctified imagination and messages sprinkled with healthy doses of humor, Jean takes the profound truths of the Word of God, shares them personally and applies them practically for Christian living.

Every so often, in the life of a church, there is someone who rises to the top as a leader and teacher extraordinaire. That person is Jean Stockdale. Jean is married to her childhood sweetheart, Craig. They have two grown and married sons, Jason and Dawson. In 2007 Jason and his wife, Patti, welcomed Declan Lee Stockdale into the world in 2007. Dawson and Kathryn enlarged their family tree with the birth of Grayson Farris Stockdale in 2008.
